Welcome to the FEI Los Angeles Chapter!

The LA Chapter, established in 1936, is one of FEI’s oldest chartered Chapters. Our membership is comprised of senior-level financial executives from the metropolitan area and represents major public and private companies, mid-size and rising developmental firms in the area, across all industries.

Our Chapter’s Mission

  • Promote fellowship and interaction among its members;
  • Enhance the professional knowledge and qualifications of its members;
  • Represent the interests of the financial community in state and local government issues; and
  • Support the FEI Headquarters in its role as the leading advocate for corporate financial management.

By becoming a member of the FEI Los Angeles Chapter, individuals are best connected in their community, better informed by attending local educational events and more engaged in the industry through interaction with other best-in-the-business financial professionals. About Us

Regular Meetings
The Chapter monthly dinner meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of each month, from September through May at a Downtown or West side location of Los Angeles.  Generally, our meetings begin with a professional development session, from 4:55 pm to 5:45 pm; then peer-to-peer interaction, from 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm; and the dinner program with a speaker starting at 6:45 pm.  Dinner normally adjourns around 8:30 pm.

Other Events
During the holiday season, the Chapter normally holds a special event when members may bring their spouse or guest.  Other fun, social events may also be scheduled during the year.

CPE Credits
Financial Executives International is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.

For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour. Contact your state board for more information. For more information regarding administrative policies such as complaint and refund, please contact our offices at membership@financialexecutives.org.

The Chapter events provide an opportunity to earn on average 14 CPE credits annually.
